MNEs and the Advancement of SDGs in Developing Countries: A Gender Perspective on Energy Technologies

Abstract
This chapter shows that MNEs are players in advancing SDGs in emerging markets and developing economies, particularly in technological innovation and gender equity in accessing modern energy technologies. The analysis underscores the importance of integrating local and gender perspectives into MNEs’ strategies for advancing energy technologies, emphasising the need for inclusivity and social responsibility.
