Abstract

This set of video clips is a series of six short tutorials on doing static palatography, a research method in articulatory phonetics. Part 1 shows all the equipment needed for palatography, Part 2 shows how to mix the palatography paint, Part 3 discusses what kinds of words to choose for palatography, Part 4 discusses hygiene aspects in palatography, Part 5 shows how to do linguograms and Part 6 shows how to do palatograms.
