Abstract

The overarching objective of this paper is to examine the recent developments and experiences in commodity markets, trade and production in order to gain a deeper understanding of commodity related developmental challenges as historically evolved and to formulate practical policies that the international community could adopt in addressing these challenges by placing commodity issues as one of the core items on post-MDG agenda.
